Copyright and Reproduction

Individual study does not require permission unless it is to be published, when permission in needed. Any other use usually requires permission.

The copyright in all the constructions, sculptures, drawings, paintings, graphic works and writings of Naum Gabo rests with Gabo’s daughter Nina Williams, and her husband Graham Williams.

Applications for reproduction permission should be addressed by email to tate.images@tate.org.uk Please give information as to the proposed use of the image or text quotation, whether it is for a book illustration, museum catalogue, CD, DVD, TV etc., print run, retail price, author, publisher and the proposed publication date.

Fees are usually, but not always, charged for the use of images and no permission is granted until fees have been paid.
